Your love of AC makes me wonder if you've ever looked into Tomodachi Life on the 3DS? It's not as interactive as AC or The Sims, but it does let you create Miis and have them interact with each other which can be entertaining for a while :P

I really love your Animal Crossing Shrine. Reading though it reminded me of the special times I spent with the games as well and all the fond memories of those years gone by.

Wild World was also my first, and New Leaf is also my favorite..

Nintendo's limited online feature sets at the time resulted in us using forums and fan sites and messaging people for items and designs and all sorts of things that resulted in this really unique and special kind of community to form that just doesn't much happen these days.

I miss those times. It was all so fun.
Animal Crossing was not only amazing as a game but also amazing as a tool to bond with others. Loved ones (like your brother) and strangers alike.

I remember when New Leaf had come out in Japan and I was waiting for the North American release. I looked up so much info about the Japanese version of the game, When it finally released it was one of the very few games that ever lived up to the hype. One of the greatest things I've ever played! So many cherished memories..

It's good to find other people online who feel the same about it.
