SunMoon Verse is the working title for my long-term visual novel project. It is a fantasy-romance story about a young woman named Sunny moving from the busy city to start a magical veterinary practice out in the quiet countryside. From there, her fate becomes entwined with numerous witches, gods, and a handsome wizard.

It is hard to pinpoint the exact moment I started laying the foundation of this project. Was it when I was 16 and doing Harvest Moon RP? Or was it in 2020 when I started daydreaming about a self-indulgent fantasy story? Either way, she's been cooking for awhile!

The story and its characters have evolved a lot since the beginning, whenever that may have been. I originally wanted to use a comic as my medium of choice, with the intention of using that as a way to get better at drawing. I learned over time that I love game design, and a VN would be the most fun way to tell the story.

There is a demo available to play here. I created this demo in ten weeks as a project for school. I am proud of the work that I did in that short period of time, but it is a little rough around the edges. I learned a lot from that experience, and I am excited to use what I learned to make a refined game as a solo-developer.

While I am actively working on the game, I have no set release date for the project. I hope to finish it within the next two years, though!
