Sunny is a magical creature specialist, similar to a veterinarian, who moves to a small seaside town to take advantage of new opportunities and get away from her corporate job and complicated past. She is determined to live a better life and take initiative for herself rather than letting her life happen around her.

Gale as he is today is shy and extremely reserved. He has spent a large part of the last century refining his craft as a wizard and studying. He is seen outside his home mostly at night when the stars are out or in the forest, foraging for ingredients. He was not always like this, though...

Nova is a fashion design and tailor, and she's a relatively famous one at that. Rumors circulate throughout town about her. Some are as extraordinary as whispers that she fought the local god and won. Could that really be true? Nova is cheerful, outgoing, and as business savvy as one could be.

Val is a witch studying to be, in her words, the greatest wand witch or wizard to ever live. Her over zealous, hot-headed nature combined with her ambition makes her a force to be reckoned with. She strives to surpass her master and the students that came before her.

Yams is Sunny's closest animal companion. He is a species of giant hamster that grows to be about the size of a normal rabbit. Which is to say, he's huge! Sunny dismisses the rumors that Yams may actually be a fugitive. After all, how could such a cute creature do something wrong?

Ashley is Sunny's older sister. She and Sunny struggled to get along growing up due to strained family dynamics. However, they're closer than ever now, despite living far away from each other. Ashley is incredibly protective over her sister, fearing that Sunny will go through the same heartarche she did.

Hazel is Sunny's friend from the healer academy. Hazel encouraged Sunny to leave the city and follow her dreams. Though they can't see each other in person as much, they're still as close as ever.
